Cookie policy
This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar technologies HealthyAndTasty.ch uses, for what purpose and how you can control them. It supplements our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Websites also use the browser's local storage (localStorage), which works in a similar way: the data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Which cookies we set
We use technically necessary cookies only. Without them, signing in and spam protection do not work.
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you signed in after login and protects forms against misuse | HealthyAndTasty.ch | until you sign out, at most 30 days |
| hat_lang | Remembers the language you chose | HealthyAndTasty.ch | 1 year |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Tells people from bots apart during login, registration and password reset | Cloudflare, Inc. | session |
What your browser stores locally
Ticked-off items on the shopping list, dismissed notices and the contents of the basket are kept in your browser's local storage. This data does not leave your device and is not read by us. It disappears when you delete website data in your browser.
No analytics and no advertising cookies
We currently use no cookies for statistics, analytics, profiling or advertising, and we embed no services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads or social media pixels. That is why no cookie banner appears on this website: technically necessary cookies do not require consent.
Should we use analytics or advertising cookies in future, we will obtain your consent beforehand, say so in this place and give you the option to withdraw that consent at any time.
YouTube videos
On individual pages we embed videos. They are only loaded once you click the preview image. Before that, no connection to YouTube is established and no YouTube cookies are set. After the click, the privacy terms of Google Ireland Limited apply.
How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block technically necessary cookies, you will no longer be able to sign in and the security check on forms will fail.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage website data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Legal basis
In Switzerland, storing data on your device is governed by art. 45c of the Telecommunications Act (TCA): it is permitted if you are informed about the processing and its purpose and are told that you may refuse it. This page does both. Where personal data is processed, the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA) applies in addition; details are set out in the privacy policy.
