Privacy policy

As at: September 2026. Under the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP), this statement tells you which personal data we process, for what purpose and to whom we pass it on.

Which data we process

  • Account: email address, password (only as an encrypted hash value), optional two-factor authentication.
  • Billing and delivery address: form of address (voluntary), first name and surname, company (voluntary), address, telephone number.
  • Health data (only with your express consent): year of birth, sex, height, weight, activity and goal as well as your weight history – for calculating BMI, daily requirement and calorie target.
  • Use of the app: meal plans, shopping lists, saved recipes.
  • Membership and payments: chosen subscription, payment status, invoice numbers. We do not receive card details; these are processed by the payment service provider.
  • Technical data: session cookie for logging in, shortened IP address in security logs, spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile).

Purposes

  • Providing the account, recipes, plans and shopping lists;
  • Handling and billing the membership;
  • at your request: passing your order on to the partner shop that you select when ordering;
  • Security of the website and protection against misuse;
  • legal obligations, in particular bookkeeping and the retention of receipts.

Disclosure to third parties

  • Payrexx AG, Thun (Switzerland) – payments with TWINT, credit card, PostFinance, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna and invoice.
  • PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg – payments with PayPal.
  • Cloudflare, Inc., USA – delivery and protection of the website, spam protection.
  • Anthropic, PBC, USA – creation of AI meal plans, only if you use this feature. What is transmitted is your calorie and macro target, your filters and wishes and the recipe list – not your name, your email address or your weight.
  • Partner shops: if you order Herbalife products through the app, we pass the data needed for the order (name, address, email, telephone, products ordered) on to the shop you have chosen: myherbal.ch (the same controller) or healthy-meals.ch (Elena Velcinschi, Kloten). That shop processes the data as its own controller under its own privacy statement.

Disclosure abroad

Our servers (website, database, email) are located in Romania (EU). The Federal Council recognises the states of the EU and the EEA as countries with adequate data protection. For service providers in the USA we rely on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.

Retention

  • Account, plans and shopping lists: until you delete the account.
  • Health data: until you delete it in your profile or withdraw your consent.
  • Billing and delivery address: until you delete it in your account; on invoices already issued it remains part of the receipt.
  • Invoices and accounting records: 10 years (Art. 958f CO).

Your rights

You can request information about your data, have it corrected or deleted, request that it be handed over in a common format and withdraw consent you have given at any time. You can change or delete much of the data directly in your account; for anything else an email to [email protected] is enough. You also have the right to complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies (logging in, spam protection). Ticked-off entries on the shopping list and hidden notices are stored locally by your browser. We do not currently use any analytics or advertising cookies.
